About the Doctors and Hospitals List

The Embassy and consulates neither endorse these providers nor guarantee their professional competence. However, U.S. citizens have used these offices in the past and generally have been satisfied with the care they received. Please be advised that it is best to have a friend or colleague with you in the hospital if you are unable to monitor your own care. The hospitals we list often provide a couch or bed in the room for the convenience of a companion.
